The annual Chehalis Music in the Park series begins with the first free concert of the year on Friday.
The concerts will be held July 17, July 24 and and July 31 at Recreation Park next to Penny Playground in Chehalis.
Concerts begin at 7 p.m. and conclude around 9:30 p.m., with a short intermission at roughly 7:45 p.m.
The musicians performing for Chehalis Music in the Park 2026 are as follows:
• July 17: Randy Linder opening for ZZ Nation (ZZ Top tribute): ZZ Nation brings the authentic sound, look and energy of ZZ Top to stages across the country, according to organizers. They recreate the Texas blues-rock that made ZZ Top legends. For more information, visit their website at https://zz-nation.com/.
• July 24: Marlow Brothers opening for Jimmy Ritchey: Jimmy Ritchey is an American country music songwriter and record producer from Centralia. Ritchey got his start as a record producer after producing demos for Tommy Shane Steiner, according to Wikipedia.
• July 31: “Can’t Get Enough” opening for Whiskey River, a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd: Whiskey River’s show is primarily a re-presentation of the multi-platinum album "One More From The Road" and "Freebird The Movie," their website states. Chehalis Music in the Park is a free outdoor concert series that brings together local talent, tribute bands, food vendors and a welcoming atmosphere, according to its website. Residents can bring a lawn chair, blanket or picnic and relax under the summer sky with friends and family.
Food concessions, including burgers, hot dogs and ice cream, will be available, and guests are also welcome to bring their own food and beverages.
Dogs are welcome on leash.
Performer merchandise and Music in the Park T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
