The Chehalis Moose Lodge is collecting toys and non-perishable food items for the Forgotten Children’s Fund through Friday, Dec. 6.
Donation boxes are available in the lodge’s lobby at 1400 Grand Ave., Centralia.

The Moose Lodge will host a dinner for the volunteers of the Forgotten Children’s Fund on Dec. 23 “to honor the hard work of all the volunteers of this amazing program and the gift this program is to our community,” organizers stated in a news release.
The Forgotten Children’s Fund “is an all volunteer organization that works to give underprivileged children and their families a truly Merry Christmas,” according to its mission statement.
Families are selected on the basis of need and are typically not assisted by other public or charitable organizations.
