The Chehalis Farmers Market will hold a plant sale on May 9 on Boistfort Street in downtown Chehalis from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The plant sale is the opening of the farmers market’s 19th season.
The market has over 25 farmers and vendors selling items, including fresh local organic produce, hot prepared food, fresh cut flowers, artisan cheeses, honey, eggs, jams, teas, beauty products and more.
The market accepts EBT/SNAP and will continue the Market Match program where it will match up to $25 spent on local produce.
The official opening day of the Chehalis Farmers Market will be June 6.
Other Chehalis Farmers Market events include Kick Off Summer Kids Day on June 13, Community Day on July 18, Farewell Summer Kids Day on Aug. 29, Wellness Day on Sept. 19 and Harvest Day on Oct. 24. The farmers market will not be open on July 4. The last day of the Chehalis Farmers Market will be on Oct. 31.
