The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum (CCRM) will run three Mother’s Day excursions on Saturday, May 11.

“Enjoy a fun and relaxing day for moms, grandmas, and the whole family. Ride the rails and be catered to by our crew as you take a memorable train ride into the Chehalis River Valley,” CCRM said in a news release.

The first excursion is a Mother’s Day Brunch & Ride departing at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 11. The brunch menu includes an organic mixed green salad with fresh raspberries, red onions and toasted sliced almonds, served with fresh raspberry vinaigrette along with Chef Joy’s selection of artisanal sandwiches “quartered and presented for a delightful brunch experience.”  Riders can choose a vegetarian or protein option when they reserve their tickets.

The second excursion is a Mother’s Day Ride departing at 2 p.m.

“Enjoy a two-hour excursion through the Chehalis River Valley Countryside. Relax during this peaceful round trip journey. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fun for the whole family. Walk-ups are welcome,” CCRM said in a news release.

The final May 11 excursion is a Mother’s Day Tea & Dessert Ride departing at 5 p.m.

“Sip tea from vintage teapots and teacups while you enjoy a mouth-watering selection of dessert cakes. Coffee, apple cider and lemon spritz for non-tea choices,” CCRM stated.
