Challenger Adam Hutchinson Sr. ahead in race for Toledo School Board

Adam Hutchinson Sr. is ahead by nearly 4% in his race to serve on the Toledo School Board, following the release of initial election results Tuesday.

After the polls closed at 8 p.m. the Lewis County Auditor’s Office reported that Hutchinson had 447 votes, or 51.44% of the ballots, to Monique Norberg’s 413 votes, or 47.53% of the ballots. The Lewis County Auditor’s Office counted 869 votes for the race in the initial release, with nine residents writing in a candidate.



The preliminary count included the results of 13,338 ballots. The Lewis County Auditor’s Office estimated there were still 701 ballots left to count on election night, with an estimated total voter turnout of 24.15%.

The next ballot count will be released at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Election certification will take place on Nov. 28.
