Washington Park Direct Care has announced the addition of Dr. Drew Hollen, D.O., to its three-provider team.
The office is accepting new patients at its membership-based primary care practice, serving over 1,700 patients in Lewis County and the surrounding area. Hollen joins Dr. Paul Williams, Dr. Lisa Neff; and Hugo De Oliveira, ARNP.
Hollen is a board-certified osteopathic physician with a passion for patient-centered care. He earned his doctor of osteopathy degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at In His Image Family Medicine Residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he trained in a broad spectrum of care including pediatrics, adult and geriatric medicine. Hollen’s approach combines evidence-based medicine with personalized attention to ensure every patient receives comprehensive, compassionate care.
Finding a primary care doctor has become increasingly difficult. Across the United States, patients face long wait times and limited availability due to physician shortages and rising administrative burdens in traditional practices. At the same time, Washington state health insurance premiums are set to increase significantly in January 2026.
The Affordable Care Act plans are projected to rise by more than 20% in 2026, and employer-sponsored plans will see the largest hikes in 15 years, according to a news release from Washington Park Direct Care. These cost pressures are prompting many families to seek alternatives for affordable, accessible care.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers a solution. Unlike traditional insurance-based models, DPC provides patients with access to their physician for a monthly fee, typically under $150 per month. This membership covers most routine and preventive services, including office visits, and chronic disease management — without copays or deductibles. While DPC is not insurance and does not cover hospitalizations or specialty care, it helps keep primary care costs down and improves access to timely, personalized care.
Located in Centralia, Washington Park Direct Care, established in January 2015, is a direct primary care practice designed to bring back the personal relationship between patient and physician. By limiting the number of patients it serves, it ensures longer visits, same-day or next-day scheduling, and direct access to your doctor, even by phone. Washington Park Direct Care’s membership model eliminates insurance hassles and offers affordable pricing, according to its news release.
“Our goal is to make health care simple, personal and affordable,” Hollen said in the release. “Direct care allows us to spend more time with patients and focus on what matters most — their health.”
