Centralia’s bounceback season came to an end on Wednesday in Washougal, where the Tigers dropped a 2A District 4 pigtail game 60-39.
The Tigers hung around early, trailing only by six after one, but the Panthers slowly built on their lead before pulling away for good by outscoring Centralia 17-8 in the final frame.
Kendyl Guenther led the Tigers with 12 points, while Ayana Saucedo capped her high school career with a nine-point performance.
Maddie Ahern added seven points, Makenzie Erickson scored five points in her final appearance as Tiger, Estella Bussanich scored four, and Nadelyn Barragan scored two.
