Centralia Youth Sports will host a dinner and auction fundraising event on March 29 at Centralia College to raise funds to support and expand local youth sports programs.
The event will feature 100 silent auction items and between 15 and 18 live auction items, including the event’s principal auction item: a timber framed backyard pavilion.
With bids to start at $20,000, the pavilion will be built by EOS Homes, LLC, with materials donated by Lincoln Creek Lumber, Shelton Structures — Shelton Lam and Deck, Tin Men Supply, CalPortland, Gale Contractor Services, Sherwin Williams, Westside Concrete Supply and Hayden Hull Transport Inc.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with the live auction starting at 7 p.m., at 615 W. Pear St. in Centralia.
Tickets, which include the dinner buffet, are $50 per person.
All proceeds will support Centralia Youth Sports and provide organized sports opportunities for K-12 Centralia athletes, according to organizers.
Centralia Youth Sports is a nonprofit organization, founded in the fall of 2023, that is committed to raising funds for providing organized sports opportunities for K-12 Centralia athletes, according to the organization’s website.
