Mike Lewis, a local Domino’s Pizza regional supervisor from Centralia, was named Domino’s U.S. and Regional Supervisor of the Year and recognized nationally at Domino’s Worldwide Rally in Las Vegas last May.

"It's an honor to receive this recognition, but I think it’s really a tribute to our franchise’s leadership and team,” Lewis told The Chronicle. “Eldon Walter, Centralia franchise owner, Lisa Moyle, my co-regional supervisor, and I have been a team for a very long time now. They are my support system, sounding board and always push me to be better. I do the same for them as well. I also owe thanks to Eldon’s wife, Kriste. They really cultivate a family-oriented atmosphere.”

The award recognizes leaders who demonstrate exceptional support for their teams while driving operational success across multiple stores.

Lewis meets this criteria by helping support all of the stores across Walter's Domino's franchise. Some of his daily tasks include supervising crews, managing team member training, supporting operations, and providing on-call store support at the following locations:

• 212 Tumwater Blvd. in Tumwater

• 515 Custer Way in Tumwater

• 1704 S. Gold St. in Centralia

• 1241 Harrison Ave. in Centralia

• 3225 Harrison Ave. NW, Suite 107, in Olympia

• 10501 Creek St. NE in Yelm

“On any given day, my role flexes based on the needs of our team and the business,” Lewis said. “I wouldn’t be successful without the support of the people around me, but I also like to think my hard work and experience have played a big part in my journey. I’m often one of the first people in and one of the last to leave because I want to do the right thing, see things through, and make sure the job gets done.”

Lewis was hired by the company in 2001 as a delivery expert and quickly discovered a passion for the business.

Over the next two decades, he worked his way up from driver to assistant manager, general manager and then supervisor.

Today, he oversees operations across Walter's Domino's franchise and continues to mentor the next generation of leaders.

“My wife, Amanda, kids and Eldon inspire me to show up and do my best every day,” Lewis said. “Growing up, I didn’t have much, so being able to build a career with Domino's and support my family means a lot to me. Eldon has also been a tremendous mentor throughout my journey. He's always encouraged me to grow, and he's had a lasting impact on both my career and my life."

Domino’s core values include acting with integrity, fostering an inclusive and people-first culture, creating innovative solutions, delivering exceptional customer experience, and growing together as a team, a news release from Domino’s stated.

“Mike is the kind of leader every organization hopes to have,” Walter said. “He leads by example, puts people first and is always willing to do whatever it takes to support our stores and team members. His dedication, integrity and commitment to doing the right thing have driven success throughout our stores. Mike and Lisa are a dynamic duo, and their partnership has helped build a culture that drives success throughout our company.”
