Centralia drops regular season finale in Shelton

The Centralia volleyball team lost the final game of its regular season on Wednesday, dropping a road contest to Shelton in the Mini-Dome 22-25, 19-25, 25-18, 17-25.

Makenzie Erickson tallied 31 digs, Ceinna Arelong added 20, and Ryleigh Butler posted 23 to go along with five kills and an 11 for 12 mark from the service line.

McKenna Smith added 12 digs and six kills, Kendyl Guenther logged five kills and a pair of blocks, and Brooklyn Sprague finished with five blocks of her own.

The Tigers (7-9, 4-6 2A EvCo) finish as the league No. 3 seed, and they will host Washougal in a pigtail matchup on Tuesday. The winner will advance to the double-elimination portion of the tournament and will play Ridgefield in a quarterfinal on Thursday in Tumwater.
