Centralia Downtown Association seeks input on what businesses the city is missing

Posted

The Centralia Downtown Association has recently released a new survey seeking input from local citizens on how to improve downtown Centralia.

The Close the Gap & Shop the Core Survey asks residents questions on how often they shop in downtown Centralia, what businesses Centralia is lacking, and where they usually go for different services.

By taking the survey, Centralia residents help the downtown association:

• Identify what’s missing in downtown

• Attract new businesses and support existing ones

• Build a stronger shopping core

Additionally, the Centralia Downtown Association put up a $250 prize for one lucky survey participant, which the Economic Alliance of Lewis County has doubled, meaning the prize totals to $500.

However, the $500 drawing only unlocks if 200 surveys are completed by Aug. 31, according to a news release from the Centralia Downtown Association.
