Centralia College volleyball drops fifth straight game

The Centralia College volleyball team lost its fifth straight game on Wednesday night, falling to Chemeketa in straight sets, 25-21, 25-15, 25-20, in front of a packed house at Michael Smith Gymnasium.

Ayzha Fuller led the Blazers with four kills, three blocks, three aces, and six digs. Peyton Smith added 12 digs of her own, and Seaonna Morgan added five kills.

“The energy was high and we did some great things as a team,” coach Ceanna Larson said after the game. “The girls continue to improve every day and it was exciting to see our hard work in action tonight.”

The Trailblazers return to the court on Friday, when they will take on Southwestern Oregon at Highline.
