American Legion Riders carry the flag via motorcycle for the singing of the National Anthem in 2018 downtown Chehalis.
Centralia College’s annual Veterans Day ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the TransAlta Commons building. The college is closed Monday.
Speakers will include Centralia College’s new Vet Corp Navigator Jonathan Akers, a Marine Corps veteran, and James Stansbury, an Army veteran.
The American Legion will provide the colors. The Marine Corps Legion of Lewis County Detachment 1119 will provide a rifle salute.
Refreshments will be provided following the ceremony. Students, veterans, and community members are invited to join this observance.
