The Winlock softball team had a tough day at the yard Thursday, losing 23-0 to Toutle Lake in five innings.
Madi Rohman had the Cardinals’ lone hit, a single in the top of the second inning. Other than that, Winlock only put the ball in play six times.
Toutle Lake sprung for eight runs in the bottom of the first inning and scored in every frame, finishing with a nine-run flourish in the fourth.
Winlock is set to face Adna in a doubleheader Saturday.
