This summer, Burnt Ridge Nursery in Onalaska will host public farm and nursery tours with founder Michael Dolan leading the way as he shares all about their 20 acres of organic fruit and nuts, according to a news release from the business.

“He’ll show crop plants, including hazelnuts, chestnuts, figs, mulberries, blueberries, kiwis and more,” the release stated. “Cultivation and propagation techniques will be discussed, as well as varieties that do well here in the Pacific Northwest. A fruit sample plate will be provided after the tour.”

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Single tickets are $15, a party of three costs $35 and a party of four costs $40. Tickets can be purchased online at www.burntridgenursery.org or by calling 360-985-2873.

There are two tour times scheduled each day of the tours. All of the events will be held outside.

The farm tours, all offered on Saturdays, will be held on  July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 13. On each day, the tours will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
