Naselle Flies Past Pe Ell

Playing in the back end of a back-to-back, a disastrous second quarter sunk Pe Ell at Naselle on Wednesday, with the Trojans falling 76-30.

Kolby Glenn was near unstoppable for the Comets, netting 30 points on six 3-pointers and 8-of-8 from the charity stripe.

Joey McCalden led the Trojans in scoring with 11 points in a game Pe Ell trailed just 14-12 after one quarter. But myriad second-quarter turnovers led to 33 Naselle points, and the rout was on.

“They continued to battle,” Pe Ell coach Clayburn Lusk said.

Pe Ell (1-1) hosts Winlock on Saturday at 3 p.m.
