The Rochester bowling team came away with a win over Centralia in their final match of the regular season on Tuesday, as the Warriors defeated the Tigers 1,689-1,593 at Fairway Lanes.
Madi Beck led the Warriors with 304 points in her two games, while Kailyn Black added 282.
Taylor Staley wasn’t far behind with 272, Kaysee Smith tallied 264, and Abby Conradi scored 252.
In two “baker games,” games where the five bowlers alternate pins, the Warriors combined for 315 points, including 170 in the second, the most of any Rochester game on the day.
For Centralia, Lyla Aumiller tallied a personal best in his first game with a score of 139, and she added to it with a 140 mark in her second.
Both the Warriors and Tigers will now turn their attention to Districts, which will take place on Friday, Jan. 26 at Triangle Lanes in Longview.
Bearcats roll past Bobcats
The W.F. West bowling team also took care of business at Fairway Lanes on Tuesday, as the Bearcats topped Aberdeen 1,909-1,690.
Savanna Hoyt-Siler led the way with 372 points, while Brea Tracy scored 297 and Emma Hamilton tallied 281 points.
In just one game of action, Aly Wiens bowled a 213, Codi Bieker scored 175, Lexie Delisle scored 134, and Jainah Johnson-Williams tallied 130 points.
W.F. West tallied 150 points in the first baker game to come away with a slim win, while the Bearcats and Bobcats tied in the second at 157.
Next up for the Bearcats is Districts, and they’ll join Rochester and Centralia in Longview on Jan. 26.
