The Black Hills football team has forfeited Friday’s Pioneer Bowl against Tumwater, as announced by the Tumwater Football team on social media.
According to the post, the Wolves determined that they had an insufficient number of players to field a varsity team.
Black Hills’ season is now over, as the Wolves finish 1-8 overall and 1-5 in 2A EvCo play.
Tumwater was able to find an opponent for Friday, as they'll take on 4A Tahoma at Sid Otton Field Friday at 7 p.m.
