Danner Hoinowski tallied three hits in four at-bats, and he drove in a run and scored another. Mat Roundtree drove in two runs on two hits and scored four runs, and Cash Smith went 2 for 2 and scored two runs while driving in another. Bryce Pine collected three hits in five at-bats, driving in two and scoring two more.

Cameron Nakano got the start on the mound, allowing one hit in two shutout innings and striking out five. Aiden Percival, Hoinowski, and Owen Fagerness pitched three no-hit innings in relief, and they combined to strike out eight.

Both teams are back in action on Wednesday, when the Pirates (2-0, 2-0 C2BL) return home to host Onalaska and the Timberwolves (0-2, 0-2 C2BL) head to Napavine to face the Tigers.
