The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will welcome Bella Nail Lounge to downtown Chehalis with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon Friday, July 17, followed by a grand opening celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 18.
Bella Nail Lounge is located at 460 NW Pacific Ave.
Bella Nail Lounge first opened in downtown Centralia five years ago, according to a news release from the chamber.
Owner Lynelle Thomas completed her education and began her career in Portland, Oregon, before returning to Lewis County with her partner, Nathan Rodriguez. In 2020, Rodriguez opened Nate's 98 Barbershop on Tower Avenue, with Lynelle joining him to open NailsXLynelle in 2021.
While Nate's 98 will remain in Centralia, NailsXLynelle is expanding its services with the new Chehalis location and a new name: Bella Nail Lounge.
Their restored space offers a calming spa atmosphere and allows the business to expand beyond nail services by introducing both dry and wet pedicure treatments, the chamber stated in the news release.
Bella Nail Lounge has two of only a handful of certified master pedicurists (CMP) providers in Washington, having completed specialized training through the North American School of Podology.
Both Thomas and technician Kimberly Herrera are CMPs. Thomas and Herrera are specially trained to work with clients who have various foot health concerns and are able to provide advanced dry/Russian pedicures and services for a wide range of foot and nail health needs.
“Every client is assessed prior to treatment to ensure our services can be performed safely and appropriately,” Thomas said in the release.
The salon is also known for its team of nail technicians, each bringing a specialty. From sculpted and 3D nail art to intricate graphic designs, clients have access to a wide variety of styles.
Thomas and Herrera are both certified in the Japanese builder/structure gel method.
Creating an inclusive environment is another priority for Bella Nail Lounge. Team members are fluent in both English and Spanish, and accommodations are available for clients with sensory sensitivities.
"We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome," Thomas said in the release. "We're happy to offer sensory-friendly appointments, including silent appointments, and we work with clients to create the experience that best fits their needs."
While Friday's ribbon cutting officially celebrates Bella Nail Lounge's expansion into Chehalis, Saturday's grand opening is designed to introduce the community to the full team and their expanded services.
The first 25 guests arriving on Saturday at 6 p.m. will receive complimentary goodie bags. Every attendee will also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win 15% off an acrylic service with Magi or 15% off any service with Karen. Guests can also enjoy complimentary spa treatments, demonstrations of the salon's Russian pedicure service, refreshments, a champagne toast, curated bites, and exclusive early access to book new services.
"We encourage both our longtime clients and those visiting us for the first time to join us on Saturday," Thomas said. "It's a wonderful opportunity to meet our entire team and experience everything Bella Nail Lounge has to offer."
Kimberly Herrera, who has been with Bella Nail Lounge since it first opened, will also be on hand to welcome guests.
"We know our loyal customers will enjoy seeing familiar faces while meeting the newest members of our team," Thomas added.
