Senior Rhylee Beebe scored twice on Tuesday night in her postseason debut for the Adna High School girls soccer team, sending them to the Class 2B District 4 semifinals with a 3-1 victory over Ocosta.
The match was moved to the turf field at Centralia College. Beebe made it 2-0 at halftime with her tally in the 19th minute and ended the three-goal night for Adna (9-8-2) in the 72nd minute. Ava Humphrey added two assists and Haley Roundtree found the back of the net in the 10th minute to open the scoring.
The Pirates will take on C2BL regular season champ and top-seeded Toledo in Tenino for the right to qualify for the state tournament.
“I think we played pretty aggressively throughout with maybe a few lapses, but overall took care of things defensively,” Adna head coach Patrick Richardson said. “I got to commend the girls for pivoting with the changes, adjusting to the bigger field and taking care of business.”
