After three games on the east side, the Tenino baseball team is still unbeaten, as the Beavers topped East Valley (Yakima) 10-5 and Zillah 11-0 on Wednesday in Yakima to move to 11-0.

The Beavers (11-0, 5-0 1A Evergreen) trailed 3-0 after three innings against East Valley, but scored nine in the fourth to take control. They added a tenth for good measure in the seventh, and two from the Red Devils in the bottom half did little to bridge the gap.

Cody Strawn went the final four innings on the bump, allowing five hits and three earned runs while walking three and striking out two, and he also went 2 for 2 at the plate with a pair of RBIs.

Austin Gonia and Michael Vassar also drove in two each.

Tenino was more dominant in Game 2, scoring 11 runs in the first four innings, including seven in the first, to put the game into run-rule territory.

Zeke Haskins and Preston Snider combined to no-hit Zillah in five innings, and Will Feltus went 4 for 4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs. Kellan Knox also drove in two at the plate, going 2 for 2 with a triple and scoring two runs.

The Beavers will look to push their win streak to a dozen when they host Centralia on Tuesday.
