The Tenino soccer team put out its second huge offensive output in as many days Wednesday, smashing Ilwaco 8-0 on the Black Top.

“It’s a good feeling when it all comes together,” head coach Trevor Fetbrandt said.

Max Craig led the way with four-goal outing, starting the scoring in the seventh minute and adding goals in the 30th, 48th, and 51st.

Miguel Espinoza added a brace, while Tyler Minerich and Alex Reichelderfer also found the back of the net. Minerich added a pair of assists to his final stat line, and David Espinoza, Austin Ebling-Knaggs, and Zach Keech had assists of their own.

“We were connecting passes through the midfield that led to dangerous opportunities up top,” Fetbrandt said.

The Beavers finished with 20 shots as a team on the night, while holding Ilwaco to just six. Brock Maurer had a pair of saves in the first half before he was replaced by David Ruedy in the second, who made four more.

Tenino is slated to face Elma on the road Friday; the Eagles beat them 4-0 when they came to Stone City back on March 22.
