The Tenino boys basketball team kept rolling to open 1A Evergreen play, dropping Hoquiam 59-45 at Brock Court on Thursday.
Noah Schow led the Beavers (9-4, 2-0 1A Evergreen) with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, and also had eight rebounds and four assists. Jack Burkhardt came in at 15 points, nine rebounds, three blocks and three steals, and Ashton Moore had 12 points and three steals.
Austin Gonia and Cody Strawn added the final 12 Tenino points, scoring six apiece; Gonia also logged a team-high five assists and shared the team lead on the boards with Burkhardt with nine rebounds, while Strawn was a perfect 2 for 2 from beyond the arc.
Tenino will hit the road for its first league matchup away from Stone City on Tuesday, at Eatonville.
