Beatles-focused band ‘Here Comes the Sun’ to perform April 7

Fans of The Beatles should take note of an upcoming show at the Raymond Theatre.

Cover band Here Comes the Sun is set to perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the Raymond Theatre, 323 Third St., in Raymond.

“Imagine a world without The Beatles,” the theater wrote in a news release. “There would be no British Invasion, no ‘Love Me Do’ or ‘Yesterday.’ There would be no ‘Hard Day’s Night,’ no ‘Help!,’ no ‘Yellow Submarine.’ ‘No Sgt. ‘Pepper’ or ‘Abbey Road.’ Almost everyone has a favorite Beatle, and a favorite Beatle song. Incredibly, The Beatles made this outsized impact over the course of just a few years, and we still feel their influence on music and culture decades later. Fortunately for us, the amazing musical legacy of The Beatles lives on and will be rocking the stage of the historic Raymond Theatre when Here Comes The Sun performs.”

The band will bring to life songs such as “I Feel Fine,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” “She Loves You,” “In My Life,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and many more.

The band works to convey The Beatles’ mastery of vocal harmony and musicianship with a “joyous and high-energy romp” through the catalog, according to the release.

“We don’t impersonate — we celebrate,” the band states on its website.
