Bearcats take care of Aberdeen for another dual win

The W.F. West boys wrestling team earned another league dual win, beating Aberdeen 46-22 on Wednesday.

Among the victors were Andrew Snyder — who Rakevich said wrestled the best he has all year — and Lakin Baker, who earned a win in his first varsity match under the spotlight.

“Our guys showed up,” W.F. West coach Jamie Rakevich said. “They took care of business. We’ve been getting better every week, and hopefully we keep that up.”

W.F. West will head to Prosser for a 64-man tournament this weekend, and it will be back at home for senior night next Thursday, Jan. 25 for a senior-night dual against Tumwater.
