Continuing its undefeated start to the spring season, even through some marshy conditions, the W.F. West girls golf team defeated Tumwater, 100-68.
Medaling once again as top golfer at Newaukum Valley Golf Course, Natalie Eklund shot a 38 on the par-33 west course, scoring 31 points under the Stableford format.
She was joined in by teammates Kendall Rasmussen (23 points), Abby Alexander (19 points), Joyce Stafford (15 points), and Grace Oien (12 points).
Tumwater’s varsity scorers included Sammy Jasper (16 points), Lily Wagner (15 points), Miley Johnston (13 points), Josie Monti (12 points), and Hannah Stark (12 points).
The Bearcats will travel to Alderbrook in Grays Harbor for their next match against Shelton and Aberdeen Wednesday.
