Bearcats, Riverhawks Take to Washougal for Panther Invite

The Toledo and W.F. West track and field teams traveled south to Washougal Friday to compete in a meet that featured 16 schools from four classifications, with a school from Oregon as well. 

For the Riverhawks, Treyton Marty took first in the boys 1600 meters (4:42.98) as well as the 3200 meters (10:21.94). And the team of Jordan Mckenzie, Trevin Gale, John Rose, and Conner Olmstead took home the victory in the 4x400-meter relay. Mckenzie also took home second-place in the 200-meter dash (23.75) and third in the 400 meters (53.17).

In the field for the Toledo girls, Lyndzie Filla placed second in the javelin with a 108 foot, 1 inch throw. 



Moving on to the Bearcats, it was a successful day in the field as Amanda Bennett took first in the javelin with a toss of 109 feet, 2.5 inches, and Emily Mallonee got second in the 300m hurdles (51.97). 

Lucas Hoff placed first in the boys high jump, clearing another personal-best 6 feet, 2 inches, as well as a second-place finish in pole vault, clearing 13 feet, 6 inches. Hoff also took home a third-place finish in the javelin, throwing 147 feet, 2 inches. Caleb Busse took second in the discus with an 134 foot, 4 inch toss, and Brian Anouma took third in the long jump with a 19 foot, 6 inch leap. 

On the track, Emmett Imboden finished third in the 110m hurdles (16.71) with a personal record, and also finished ninth in the 300m hurdles (46.17).
