“I was really proud of how Bryce and Javyn played, it was a very closely fought match,” Bearcats coach Jack State said of the first doubles defeat. “Both teams had opportunities to win and chances where they could’ve finished it. The other team battled back and pulled it out, but I was really happy with how they played, establishing themselves as one of the top teams in our league. I don’t think there’s anyone in our district they can’t beat if they play well all the way through.”

The Bearcats (9-1, 5-0 2A EvCo) take on Tumwater at home Wednesday for another match.
