Bearcats bounce back with win over Shelton

The W.F. West baseball team got back in the win column on Tuesday, taking down Shelton on the road 9-4.

The Bearcats (10-2, 5-0 2A EvCo) were held scoreless in the first, but then scored in five of the final six innings, including a pair in the third and fourth and three in the seventh.

Connor Coleman, Miles Martin, and Deacon Meller collected two hits each, and Cole Ozretich gave up just two runs in four innings on the bump. Alex Stafford tallied three hits at the plate

W.F. West will head to Shelton on Wednesday again, but the Bearcats will be designated home team.
