$50,000 bench warrants have been issued for the arrests of a Lynnwood man and a Edmonds man accused of raping a woman at a party in Randle in January 2020.

Lathan M. Echols, 18, of Lynnwood, and Francisco P. Prater, 18, of Edmonds, have each been charged with one count of second-degree rape for allegedly having sex with the victim while she was incapable of consent. The charge carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment and up to $50,000 in fines.

Both Echols and Prater were summoned to appear in Lewis County Superior Court for preliminary appearances on April 21 but did not show up.
