Arbor Health surgeon receives Excellence in Healthcare Award

Arbor Health foot and ankle surgeon G. Parker Peresko was recently recognized as a top performing doctor for his performance in providing quality care, according to a news release from Arbor Health. 

The award was presented by Professional Research Consultants (PRC), a leader in the health care intelligence space. PRC is a nationally-recognized organization that supports over 2,800 health care organizations across all 50 states. 

The Excellence in Healthcare Awards recognize organizations and individuals who achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences, health care employee engagement and physician alignment and engagement based on surveys of their patients, according to the news release.

Peresko’s award was determined by his patients’ ratings for the care he provided.

“It is an honor to recognize G. Parker Peresko and Arbor Health — Morton Clinic with this Excellence in Healthcare Award for their deserving work,” said Dr. Joe M. Inguanzo, president and CEO of PRC. “It takes true dedication and determination to achieve this level of excellence in health care, and Dr. Peresko and Arbor Health have shown their commitment to making their health care facilities a better place to work, a better place to practice medicine and a better place for patients to be treated.”



Arbor Health CEO Robert Mach said he was delighted to see Peresko earn the award.

Lewis County Hospital District No. 1 is the parent organization of Arbor Health, the East Lewis County-based health system. The organization includes Morton Hospital, the Rapid Care Clinic and the specialty clinic in Morton as well as the Morton, Mossyrock, Randle and Packwood primary care clinics.
