Arbor Health Morton Hospital was recently selected for its first Foundation for Health Care Quality Trailblazer Award.
The organization stated that Arbor Health is included in the first group to receive the Trailblazer Award “for their exemplary work in adherence to best practices.”
In addition to Arbor Health, other Trailblazer Award recipients included:
• UW Medicine & UW Physicians
• Healthpoint
• Community Health Plan of Washington
• Kaiser Permanente
• Multicare
Arbor Health was selected for small and rural hospital excellence.
The Foundation for Health Care Quality develops collaborative guidelines to help health system stakeholders chart their paths of transformation toward achieving improved quality, reduction in variation in care and health equity, according to a news release from Arbor Health.
“I am thrilled that Arbor health has been honored with the prestigious Foundation for Health Care Quality's inaugural Trailblazer Award,” said Arbor Health Chief Executive Officer Robert Mach in a prepared statement. “This recognition is a testament to the dedication and tireless efforts of every member of our team.”
“Receiving this accolade is not just a reflection of our past achievements but a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare. It affirms that we are on the right path, pushing boundaries and setting new standards in caring for our community,” Mach added. “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each member of our team for their unwavering commitment, passion and hard work.”
Lewis County Hospital District No. 1 is the parent organization of Arbor Health, the East Lewis County-based health system. The organization includes Morton Hospital, the Rapid Care Clinic and the Specialty Clinic in Morton as well as the Morton, Mossyrock, Randle and Packwood primary care clinics.
