The applications for 2027 Lewis County Rodeo Court close July 27.
Members of the Lewis County Rodeo Court serve as representatives of the Lewis County Rodeo at rodeos, parades, community events, school visits and other appearances throughout the year.
The program focuses on developing leadership, public speaking, horsemanship, confidence and community involvement while promoting rodeo, agriculture and Western heritage.
Contestants will participate in a competition that includes horsemanship, public speaking, personal interviews, appearance and rodeo knowledge, according to the Southwest Washington Fair’s website.
Applicants must:
• Be female and between the ages of 16 and 20.
• Reside in Lewis, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Pacific or Cowlitz counties.
• Meet all eligibility requirements outlined in the application packet.
Applications are available online or may be picked up at the Southwest Washington Fair Office.
