Finn Hill Cemetery will host its annual cleanup at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 18.
The cemetery is located at 396 Nelson Road, Rochester.
“Go up the dead-end gravel road, past 396 to the very end,” a news release about the cleanup stated.
Weed eaters, edgers, mowers and power tools to trim overgrown brush are all needed, in addition to headstone cleaner and moss, mold, mildew and algae stain remover, 5-gallon buckets, nylon or non-metal brushes, sponges, plastic scrapers, leaf blowers, brooms and shovels. Water is also required as there is no water source there.
Workers can work at their own pace and do what is within their ability to assist at the once-a-year community cleanup.
