Nine different players registered a hit for the Pirates and a couple pinch-hitters recorded memorable days at the plate in aiding a 19-0, five-inning C2BL victory over the Vikings on Friday night in Mossyrock.
Nailon Ramirez launched a three-run home run that capped a six-run top of the fourth and Cameron Nakano roped a double in a two-hit, three-RBI day to boot. Adna (9-0, 9-0 C2BL) loaded the bases in the first and turned it into a four-run frame.
It added four more in the second before a five-spot in the third put the game out of reach. Cash Smith notched a team-best four runs batted in while Owen Fagernes and Preston Trodahl combined to throw 10 strikeouts.
Mossyrock (4-4, 4-4) got its first two batters on base in the first and couldn’t bring them home. Easton Kolb, Mason Atter and Wylde Greisen each had a hit for the Vikings.
Adna will face PWV on April 14 in a non-league tilt while Mossyrock will wait until April 16 to battle Napavine.
