In the blink of an eye, the Pirates turned a one-point lead to 13 and then piled on in the second half en route to a 70-37 statement victory over the Loggers on Friday night in a C2BL showdown in Onalaska.
Of the 70 points Adna (12-1, 3-0 C2BL) unleashed, the second and third quarters featured 47 of them. Its lethal offense made 14 3-pointers and three players finished in double figures, paced by 19 from Karsyn Freeman. Gaby Guard added 14 and McKenna Torrey chipped in 11.
The Pirates head into Tuesday’s showdown with Toutle Lake as the sole unbeaten in the league. Onalaska (10-3, 0-2) is still in search of its first C2BL win and it will face Toledo on Tuesday night.
Delaney Marshall, Kiley Talley and Kaiyah Sandridge all finished with seven points for the Loggers.
