The Adna boys golf team won a four-team meet on Tuesday at Riverside, beating Rainier, Ilwaco, and Napavine.
The Pirates finished at 201 strokes as a team, narrowly topping the Mountaineers, who finished with 205. Ilwaco tallied 216, while Napavine ended up with 267.
Trevin Salme finished as the match medalist with a 42, though Napavine’s Riley Griffith also impressed with a 43. Josh Peralta led Rainier with a 47.
Adna’s Brodey Lewis also broke 50, carding a 49.
“The course was challenging for sure,” Adna coach Luke Salme said. “They’re hosting a college tournament this weekend, so they have the greens really firm and fast. It was a good test for all these 2B golfers.”
