Adna makes quick work of Wahkiakum

The Adna softball team needed just two innings at the plate on Thursday, as the Pirates blew past Wahkiakum 15-0 in three innings.

The Pirates (4-3, 2-0 C2BL) only scored two in the first, but they plated 13 runs in the second to blow the game open.

Ava Simms hit two home runs and drove in six, and Margarite Humphrey also hit a homer and brought home five.

Alyssa Carroll drilled two doubles, and Kendall Humphrey also drove in a run.

Avery La Fontaine pitched all three innings in the circle, allowing just one hit and striking out six without allowing a run.

Adna will host Warden for a non-league doubleheader on Saturday before heading to Toutle Lake on Monday to resume league play.
