The thieves were in and out within two minutes.
That's according to what was filmed on Pro Image Sports' cameras around 4 a.m. Sunday, when three masked men wearing all black broke into the sports store near Lumen Field and made off with about $50,000 worth of Seahawks jerseys and jackets.
Senior manager Tyrese Thrower said the men went straight for the wall of jerseys and snatched as many as they could — with names spanning eras from Steve Largent to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kenny Easley to Tariq Woolen — damaging part of the wall in the process.
Nothing about the thieves was remarkable, aside from their shoes, Thrower said. He recognized one pair of Nike Air Max 90s and two pairs of Air Force 1s or Dunks.
We're trying to keep it positive, keep it about the successes of Seattle sports rather than the losses of our store, Thrower said.
Gear for the Super Bowl LX-bound Seahawks has been flying off the shelves at many Seattle memorabilia stores all week, leading to record sales.
Seattle police said anyone with information about the theft should call the department's non-emergency line at 206-625-5011.
Thrower also said he had seen an Instagram post about people selling Seahawks jerseys in Burien, though that has not been independently confirmed.
