Hillsboro police are investigating a shooting that wounded three teenagers at an events venue on Northeast Century Boulevard Saturday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m., Hillsboro police said in a news release. The injured teens are expected to survive.
A police spokesperson said Sunday that he could not immediately provide more details about the shooting, including what kind of event was happening at the venue or whether the agency believes the shooting was carried out by other young people. The venue did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Detectives are pursuing leads, the news release said, but Hillsboro police had not arrested any suspects as of Sunday morning.
Police have asked anyone with information about the case to contact the non-emergency dispatch line at (503) 629-0111 and reference case #26-5456.
