Napavine pounded out 12 hits in four team at-bats, scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the third inning to break a 2-2 tie.

“I thought we played well. The kids executed, and they had some good approaches at the plate,” Napavine coach Brian Demarest said. “I just thought, all in all, 1 through 9 we put good swings on the ball.”

Ashton Demarest led the way at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Laythan Demarest went 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs, Connor Holmes went 2-for-4 with an RBI, Braiden Osborn was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Austin Chapman went 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI. “We had a good outing from Gavin, which was nice,” Demarest said. “And we played some good defense behind him.”
