Centralia won in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches but couldn’t pull out a victory against Class 3A Capital on the road Tuesday in a non-league match.
“Olivia played a close competitive match at No. 1 singles and really hit the ball well today,” Centralia coach Deb Keahey said. “Nora Sas also had a challenging match at #2 singles and continues to grow stronger with each set.”
“Maya and Liza played No. 1 doubles together for the first time this season,” Keahey said. “They adjusted well after the first set and played great team tennis to clinch the win.”
Centralia falls to 3-5-1 overall and is 3-4-1 in league play. The Tigers host Black Hills on Wednesday.
