2A Football: W.F. West Spills the Tea at Hudson’s Bay

VANCOUVER — The Bearcats defeated Hudson’s Bay 51-7 in non-league football action here on Friday thanks to a huge game from quarterback Josiah Johnson.

Johnson threw 13 times for 235 yards and five touchdowns in the win. His favorite target on the night was Max Taylor, who caught two passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. Jaiyden Camoza pulled down three passes for 62 yards and a score while Cade Haller caught two passes for 58 yards and a pair of scores. Leandre Gaines added one catch for a 34-yard touchdown.

W.F. West took a 37-0 lead into the intermission and kept adding to their advantage until the fourth quarter when Hudson’s Bay posted their lone score.



The Bearcats defense limited Hudson’s Bay to 115 yards of total offense on their way to the win. W.F. West forced three fumbles and recovered one to help their cause.

W.F. West (3-0) will host Washougal next Friday.
