15th annual Lighted Tractor Parade delights crowds in downtown Centralia

Posted

A break in the rain and slightly warmer temperatures arrived just in time for the 15th annual Lighted Tractor Parade in downtown Centralia on Saturday night.

Thousands of people attended the parade, which began with floats staging on Centralia College Boulevard before rolling down Pearl Street and Tower Avenue beginning at 6 p.m.

The grand marshal this year was Lewis County’s ABATE (A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments) motorcycle club chapter. By choosing Lewis County ABATE as the grand marshal, the Centralia Downtown Association also honored Shelli Ackerman, of Centralia, an Abate member who died in August.
