In another solid showing for the Twin City, the Mat Cats took third at the Lion’s Den Championships at Bethel High School in Spanaway on Sunday.
TC had 184 points, and competed against 33 other teams in the tournament, finishing behind just Ford Dynasty and NWWWC of Bremerton.
Title-winners for the Mat Cats included Conner Rapp (12U 117), Brayden Wheeler (12U 160), Ryker Jensen (14U 87), and Brody Sayers (16U 140).
Seventeen other Twin City wrestlers were runners-up, with 11 more placing third, and nine earning fourth-place finishes.
Next up for the Twin City Wrestling Club is the Northwest Folkstyle Challenge in Bremerton next Sunday.
