Kim R. Lannoye: This guy pampered my husband last week and I can’t wait to take my son. It is definitely an old school feel ... the shop as well as his vibe and style. Super awesome.

Facebook readers react to a story about the Relay For Life  event being more than a way to raise money for cancer research. It helps instill hope and connect.

Judy Richmond Landsidel: Yes, Katie, you are such an inspiration to all of us. I am sure you have had many days that have been less than happy, but I have never seen you without a smile on your pretty face and always upbeat.Wishing you and John and your family the very best.

• Story: Weyerhaeuser Camping Fees on the Rise; Passes Good All Year

“’It’s really getting out of hand,’ said Larry F. Smith, secretary-treasurer of the Cowlitz Basin ORV Club. ‘We’re losing our freedoms in our country left and right.’” Does that include freedom to ride your ATV on someone else’s private property, Larry? If Weyerhaeuser’s tax breaks are predicated on free public access to their property, go after them in court on that basis. Otherwise, Weyco owes nobody a free ride on property they paid for. Would you be OK if people start coming over to your back yard to spin donuts and gave you nothing in return?

Where is the backbone of the state and timber counties? It would be great if they would double Weyco taxes. Residents are already subsidizing Weyco tax breaks right now. Lots of people also stopped purchasing hunting licenses over this, and less business in the small towns that are already drying up. The governor of Montana stepped up for their residents recently. Pure greed.
