AAUW Awards Scholarships

Makayla Vanasse and Keesha Matz were winners of the American Association of University Women scholarships for this school year. Both are graduates of W.F. West High School.  Vanasse won the Dr. Kate Gregg scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for a Centralia College female who is at least a sophomore. Vanasse is currently in the nursing program. Matz was selected to receive a $1,000 tuition scholarship given to a junior or senior female from Lewis County attending a four-year college.  Matz is currently a junior at Washington State University studying microbiology. Applications are available for next year’s scholarships by emailing aauwlcscholarship@gmail.com. Applications are due Feb.15.
