Track & Field: Winlock’s Trodahl wins three, but Loggers sweep both ends of home C2BL meet

Onalaska’s boys and girls both came out on top in a five-team Central 2B League track meet Tuesday on the Loggers’ home track.

Onalaska’s Justice Miller won the discus at 146 feet, 11 inches, with teammates Ethan Thayer and Justin Jacoby finishing second and third. Lane Gordon won the javelin at 126-0 and Luke Barrick took the pole vault at 9-6.

Isaac Fitch, Case McGraw, Taden Miller and Riley Carter won the 4x400 relay for the Loggers in 3:50. Fitch was also second in the 200 meters and 400, while Miller was second in the 800 and Carter was second in the 110-meter hurdles.

Morton-White Pass’ Noah Troy won the 200 in 24.08, while teammate Clark Henderson swept the hurdles — winning the 110s in 16.5 and the 300s in 42.77. Henderson, Troy, Matthew Parvi and Tony Belgiorno also won the 4x400 relay in 4:08.

Toledo’s Jordan McKenzie won the 100 in 11.69 and the 400 in 52.42.



Chase Trodahl won three races for Winlock, taking the 800 in 2:10.97, the 1600 in 4:41.80 and the 3200 in 10:43.89.

On the girls side, Kyla Free won the 100 hurdles for Onalaska in 21.53.

Winlock’s Victoria Sancho won the 100 (13.3) and the 200 (27.4). Natalie Cardenas Hernandez won the 1600 (6:44) for the Cardinals, Cali Scofield won the long jump (15-1), and Sancho, Scofield, Cardenas Hernandez and Charlee Connelly won the 4x100.

Toledo’s Ava Good, Jasmine Kemmerer, Haylee Wolfe and Onica Chase teamed up to win the 4x200 and the 4x400. Wolfe added a win in the 800 at 2:41.08.

MWP was second on the boys side, with 79 points to the Loggers’ 90. Winlock was the girls runner-up with 65 points against the Loggers’ 72.
