Port of Centralia commissioner Peter Lahmann appears to secure re-election in preliminary election results

While voters around the country voted to decide on various local candidates and initiatives, voters in Port of Centralia district 3 had the opportunity to choose who will represent them for the next six years. 

Preliminary election results were released by the Lewis County Auditor's Office on Nov. 7 at 8:06 p.m.

The race featured incumbent Commissioner Peter Lahmann, who was being challenged by the former Lewis County Assessor Dianne Dorey. 

Currently, Lahmann leads Dorey by a vote count of 2,237 to 1,026. 



According to the Lewis County Auditor’s Office, there are an estimated 701 ballots left to be counted in the county. The next update is set for Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m. 

County certification of the Washington state general election will take place on Nov. 28.
